It is important to be able to explain to other scientists what you have observed or understood. So chemical reactions have a special language that scientists all over the world understand: we use chemical formulae, states in brackets and arrows to indicate what has happened in the transformation.
In the simulation, click on ‘chemical equations’ and replay each reaction. Compare the chemical equations with what you have written on your sheets and write them down. If you wish, and if you have already worked with chemical equations in the past, you can try to find them on your own and then use the ‘chemical equations’ button to correct yourself.
