You are now going to investigate the effect of GHGs on radiation.

In the right-hand menu of the simulation below, choose Flux, click Play and wait until all fluxes are displayed.

Vary the CO₂ slider under Greenhouse effect to maximum and then to minimum. Observe how IR radiation escaping from the atmosphere varies, as well as IR radiation re-emitted by GHGs towards the surface.
