Albedo and greenhouse effect
You discovered in the previous tab that the Earth's energy balance depends on the VIS and IR fluxes leaving the planet. However, the values of these fluxes themselves depend on two characteristics of our planet: its reflectivity in the VIS range, so-called “albedo”, and its greenhouse effect.
